eDiscovery Features
Discover Documents
The eDiscovery connector framework supports various systems like file systems, mailboxes, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, SQL servers, and Laserfiche. It includes inbound connectors to discover documents from the source and outbound connectors to store documents at the target location.
Document Classification
Documents can be classified by folder patterns or file content. Folder patterns involve tagging folders with metadata types like passports, accounting statements, utility bills, invoices, etc. File content-based classification creates clusters of similar documents based on their content. It provides accurate metadata but requires a reference document per cluster. It is also used for the automatic tagging of daily scanned documents.
Document Migration
The migration module migrates the discovered documents to Laserfiche DMS with the right metadata and files the documents with the right security and to the right folder structure.
Search Engine
Search Engine allows users to quickly and efficiently locate specific documents. It enables users to enter keywords, tags, or other search criteria, and then retrieves relevant documents, streamlining the process of document retrieval and enhancing overall document organization and accessibility.
